What is Air-cooled island tube
It is a power plant air-cooling unit, which consists of 56 wind
turbines, and its function is to cool down high-temperature steam.
Air is used as a coolant, either as a chiller or as a condenser.
The air cooler mainly consists of tube bundles, supports and fans.
The air cooler hot fluid flows inside the tubes and air is blown
through outside the tube bundle. Since the ventilation required for
heat exchange is large and the air pressure is not high, axial flow
ventilators are mostly used (see Fluid Conveying Machinery).
The air-cooled island tube is suitable for large-scale production
of high-precision, high-strength, good plasticity, and
large-diameter thin-walled high-end aluminum alloy pipes through
indirect mass production. It is extruded using a large-tonnage
extrusion press, resulting in higher density and better control of
product accuracy than cold drawing and stretching processes. The
monthly production capacity is 300 tons.
The production process of the air-cooled island tube includes the
following steps: raw material procurement, inspection, cleaning,
extrusion, stretching, ultrasonic testing, straightening, precision
cutting, inspection, and packaging of finished products. This
production process ensures that the tube can meet various
processing requirements such as piercing, flaring, expanding,
passivation, and water testing.
